Based on 384 reviewsOsteria del Buchetto is praised for its authentic Italian cuisine, particularly standout pasta dishes and desserts like tiramisu and panna cotta. The restaurant’s scenic outdoor terrace offers stunning valley views, enhancing the dining experience, especially in warm weather. Guests consistently highlight the friendly and attentive service, often mentioning the welcoming host. The cozy atmosphere, combined with a well-curated local wine selection, makes it a favored spot for both locals and visitors seeking an intimate yet vibrant dining setting in Spello.
Quiet table on their terrace overlooking the valley and towns nearby. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the tiramisu was a great flavour explosion. We’ll be going again!
Great and friendly service A bit disappointed by the food. For example the fettuccine al tartuffo were actually with tartuffata which is a mix of truffle and mushroom instead of just truffle. It was still very tasty but should have been mentioned. Dessert was delicious
Polite and helpful service, tasty food (especially tagliatelle al tartufo and gnocchi, strozzapreti not so much). Also the view was breathtaking :)
We dine here often when we are in Spello. When the weather is warm, the outdoor dinning is beautiful. However, inside is very nice too. Massimo is a wonderful host. The food is so delicious. We have had to rotolo of pork and many of the pasta dishes. You need to make a reservation as they fill up quickly.
Wonderful food in a little place slightly away from all the tourist restaurants. Their gnocchi Gorgonzola e Asparagus was sublime. Panna cotta was also heavenly. Great local wine selection.
Am excellent place for dinner. You'll need reservations, because it is limited in seating. The menu offers local dishes that taste fabulous. You know it is good when you see the locals eating here
Amazing view from their patio. Good food; had the pasta with wild boar. Service and waiting time for food can be improved.
Loved this small osteria from the moment we entered. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Our hostess in Spello made the reservation for us. Massimo greeted us warmly as I stumbled through my very bad Italian. There is no rush here to turn over tables. We enjoyed a lovely meal at a leisurely pace. We started off with a litre of the house red wine. My husband and I both had the lentil soup -- lentils from Lake Trasimeno region. Hot and delicious. My husband had the Tagliata di Manzo with arrugala. I had the Papparadelle al Ragu Rosso Umbro -- Both were outstanding. By far one of our favorite meals in Spello.
